Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Smart Turnover Android and iPhone apps and smartturnover.com (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
A company account's owner and admins decide who can access that company's records.

Your content

You own the inspections, photos, videos and notes you add. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service.
You're responsible for having the right to record and share what you add, including the personal details of tenants and others, and for following the laws that apply to you.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to reach other companies' data, and no disrupting or overloading the service.

Reports and deposits

Smart Turnover is a record-keeping tool. Reports, comparisons and deposit summaries are based on what users enter and are not legal advice. You're responsible for decisions about security deposits and for meeting your state's landlord-tenant requirements.

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but it's provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We may update the service and these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Smart Turnover isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
